Chapter VIII: Light is stationary.

Chapter VIII: Light is stationary.

In the literature, it stated contradictory statement and evidences about light moving with constant speed.

1.  In 1905, Albert Einstein postulated that the speed of light c with respect to any inertial frame is a constant and is independent of the motion of the light source.

2. The speed of light in air is about 299700 km/s.

3. Light in glass travels at c / 1.5 ≈ 200000 km/s.

4. It takes sunlight an average of 8 minutes and 20 seconds to travel from the Sun to the Earth.

Contradiction 1 : Consider statement 1 and 4. Assume that, along with sunlight, a rocket is coming towoards earth from sun at same speed of light. Constant speed of rocket is inertial frame. As per Statement 1, light is still moving with speed of 299700 km/s. So, Light should reach earth faster than rocket. But that is not the case, Light shall reach earth  with constant speed of 8 minutes and 20 second.

Contradiction 2:

Consider statement 1, 2 and 3. If light is moving with constant speed, then how light change speed with change in the medium. Glass observe UV light, in such case most of the UV radiation speed should be come to 0 KM /s.

Above point 1,2, 3 and 4 can only be concluded, if light is stationary. Its electromagnetic reaction play role and interact.
